UPDATED NOVEMBER 1, 2026
Your details, and the Moot list.
This notice covers this early-access website, operated by Max Dandrea for Moot. It describes the website as it works today.
What we collect
When you join, we save your email address, signup time, consent notice version, and campaign tags from the link you used. We don’t ask for grades, coursework, payment details, or a password.
How we use it
We use the list for Moot news about testing and launch, and to understand which students are interested. Joining is free. We haven’t announced launch timing, access availability, or pricing. This website does not automatically send a confirmation email. After signup, you can download a free rule-application worksheet directly from the success screen.
Website measurement
We keep aggregate counts of visits, page views, practice actions, video starts, form activity, new signups and worksheet-link clicks. Reports group these counts by day, campaign tags, referring website, page, approximate country and device category (mobile, tablet or desktop). We retain only the referring website’s hostname, not its full URL. Country comes from the hosting network and may be unavailable or inaccurate.
Session storage on your device remembers the link you arrived from and helps avoid counting a reload as a new visit. We do not assign a visitor ID, record your screen, store raw IP addresses in analytics, or connect individual browsing histories to signup emails. We do not use advertising pixels or cross-site tracking cookies. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable optional measurement. Campaign tags can still be saved with an email you choose to submit.
For spam prevention, the server temporarily stores a salted hash derived from your IP address in short time windows; these records expire and are removed during subsequent requests. Hosting providers may separately process routine network and security logs.
Where it is stored
The website and signup database use OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare hosting infrastructure. Your details are accessible to Max to administer the list. We don’t sell the list or publish email addresses. No third-party email marketing provider is connected to this website today.
Leaving the list
After a new signup, the success screen provides a private removal link. Keep that link if you want to remove your signup directly. You can also email maxddd1@gmail.com from the address you signed up with to request removal, a correction, or a copy of your signup details. Use “Moot list request” as the subject. If you signed up before and no longer have the removal link, contact Max.
Retention and changes
We keep your signup while operating the early-access list, unless you ask to leave. We will review the list at launch or if the project is discontinued and remove details we no longer need. If the purpose changes, we’ll update this notice and request new consent where needed.
Study preview
The sample uses an original Contracts hypothetical about consideration, with a link to the authority behind the stated rule. It is supplementary education and does not supply legal advice or predict a grade or exam result. The worksheet and website exercise are standalone study resources. The illustrated character scene comes from Moot’s prototype.
